Xav was a great host, always available for anything we needed. The house is impeccable and located in an amazing area. Close enough to many of the wonderful sights in the Golden Circle. The beds were on the smaller side, yet very comfy. We had an incredible time and enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Absolutely amazing place in the Golden Circle. The Little Blue House was one of the best accommodations we had in Iceland. Spacious, comfortable, cosy with a superb hot tub. We loved the astonishing view all around. The house was well prepared, we found it quickly and the arrival process was very smooth. Xavier always replied very quickly and we had all the info we needed. Would love to come back one day in the future.

Beautiful house, felt like home — cosy and private with gorgeous views, within driving distance of the Golden Circle sights and other beautiful landscapes. Xav was really helpful and friendly, quick to respond to any questions, and even accommodated a last-minute earlier check-in time when our plans were complicated by flight delays and weather. The hot tub was easy to use and an amazing experience in such a wintery environment. We'd love to go back!

Xavier's cottage is perfectly situated in the Golden Circle. It enjoys an exceptional, unobstructed view straight onto the mountains and volcanoes. In very fine weather, you can even see the glaciers. It's very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank Xavier for being so responsive. We highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the time in the Little Blue House. It is very calm and cosy. The hot tub is easy to use and a highlight after the daily hike! We were lucky and could enjoy the Northern Lights dancing over the house.

The perfect home for our first trip to Iceland! There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub watching the Northern Lights. Xavier is very responsive and the house is close to ALL the sights.

I had an amazing time at Xavier's cabin. It's in such a picturesque rural area, yet close enough to towns like Selfoss so you can still explore there if you'd like! Also the hot tub is a major plus.

What a great place! Highly recommend. Hot tub was perfect, views beautiful, so peaceful (we never saw a neighbour once!) and the kitchen was brilliantly equipped with salt, pepper, oil, plenty of bin bags and toilet roll — everything we could ever need!

Cosy little house in the middle of the Golden Circle with a fantastic view onto the nearby mountain. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and were able to observe the Northern Lights at the beginning of September! All major attractions of the Golden Circle are reachable within an hour's drive — the perfect base to explore Iceland's beautiful nature.

A fantastic spot for watching the Northern Lights — we went at the right time of year and had beautiful nights with auroras that we watched from the little blue house. Calm and soothing, close to several sights yet still feeling secluded. We were very happy in the cottage, which is very well equipped and warm. The directions from the host were clear and we felt completely at ease. A holiday that did us a world of good. We also tried the hot tub and it was simply wonderful. Thank you, sincerely, for everything.

This is a great little cabin with stunning views and great access to local points of interest — you can easily get to Geysir or Gullfoss. Would recommend a stay here if you want something remote and peaceful.

We now miss the Blue House after five wonderful days. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, amazing view. The hot tub was such a delight after a day of exploring breathtaking Iceland. Communication with Xavier was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was very cosy — we felt right at home straight away. The house is practically furnished. We'd go back in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend the house, its location and Xavier.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you. Very easy to access the attractions that make up the Golden Circle from here. The hot tub was a huge bonus and we loved feeling like we were out in nature. Super cosy interior which made relaxing after a day of adventuring super easy! I give this place 10/10 — would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for six nights and absolutely loved it! The location is brilliant — you can explore the Golden Circle on your own without long drives. Everything you need is there, and the quiet and openness you experience from the house is one of a kind. The hot tub was a highlight, really wonderful for warming up in the evenings. We had a wonderful visit at the cabin. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for our few days in Iceland. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook a few simple meals.

Three weeks of family holiday — the four of us in Xavier's cabin with the hot tub — was a dream. Beautiful views, well equipped, all clearly explained. We hardly had any questions, and when we did, Xavier was easy to reach. The local highlights and Highland hikes are all reachable within 45 minutes. The Westman Islands (up to the ferry) and Reykjavík are about 1.5 hours away. A 4x4 is highly recommended, not least for the gravel track up to the cabin.

We had a great time in Xavier's little cottage with our son. The cabin is brilliantly located in the Golden Circle, and of course the hot tub is the cherry on top. We'd come back any time!
