Access
A 4x4 is needed in winter. In summer the house is accessible by car, though a 4x4 is still useful if you plan to drive Iceland's F-roads.
Winter Weather
Please keep an eye on weather and road conditions. In extreme snow, the access road can be cleared locally if required.
