Iceland House Giveaway

1. Promoter

The Promoter is Little Blue House Iceland, of Container 32, Pollard Yard, 15 Pollard Street East, Manchester M40 7QX, United Kingdom ("the Promoter"). Any questions about this giveaway should be sent to hello@littlebluehouseiceland.com.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The giveaway is open to entrants in the United Kingdom aged 18 or over at the date of entry.

2.2 The following people are excluded from entering: the Promoter, members of the Promoter's immediate family or household, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of this giveaway.

2.3 By entering, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria.

3. How to enter

To enter, participants must, before the closing date:

• Follow @littlebluehouseiceland on Instagram;
• Like the giveaway post; and
• Tag three friends in the comments of the giveaway post.

3.1 One entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will not increase chances of winning.

3.2 Tagged friends must be real Instagram accounts. Fake accounts, spam accounts, or repeatedly tagging the same accounts will result in disqualification.

3.3 No purchase necessary. No payment of any kind is required to enter.

4. Entry period

4.1 The giveaway opens on publication of the giveaway post and closes at 23:59 BST on Wednesday 11 June 2026.

4.2 Entries received outside this period will not be counted. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are incomplete, lost, delayed, or not received for any reason.

5. The Prize

5.1 The Prize is a 5-night stay for up to 4 people (adults and children) at the Promoter's property in Bláskógabyggð, southern Iceland (the "Property").

5.2 The stay must be taken on dates mutually agreed in writing between the winner and the Promoter, subject to availability, and must fall within one of the following windows:

• Between 18 May 2026 and 30 June 2026; or
• Between 15 August 2026 and 31 October 2026.

5.3 Approximate retail value of the Prize: £1,500.

5.4 There is one (1) Prize available. There is no cash alternative and the Prize is non-transferable. The Prize cannot be exchanged or used in conjunction with any other offer.

5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equivalent or greater value if circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control make the original Prize unavailable.

5.6 The Prize is contingent on the Property remaining in the Promoter's ownership. If the Promoter sells or transfers ownership of the Property prior to the winner's stay, the Prize will be void. In that event, the Promoter will notify the winner as soon as reasonably practicable. No compensation, cash alternative or substitute prize will be offered.

6. What is included

• 5 consecutive nights' accommodation at the Property
• Linen, towels and basic toiletries
• Wi-Fi, heating, hot water and electricity
• Standard end-of-stay cleaning

7. What is NOT included

The winner is responsible for arranging and paying for all of the following:

• International and domestic travel to and from Iceland
• Transport between Keflavík Airport (or any other arrival point) and the Property
• All food, drink and groceries
• Activities, excursions, tours and car hire
• Travel insurance (which the winner is strongly advised to take out)
• Passports, visas and any other travel documentation
• Any incidental costs incurred during the stay

8. Winner selection and notification

8.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries by the Promoter within 48 hours of the closing date.

8.2 The winner will be notified by direct message via the Instagram account used to enter.

8.3 The winner must respond to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 7 days of notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.

8.4 The Promoter may publish the winner's first name, country, and Instagram handle on the giveaway post and on the Promoter's social channels.

9. Confirmation of the Prize

9.1 Before the Prize is finally confirmed, the winner must:

• Provide a copy of valid government-issued photo identification (passport or national ID card) for themselves and confirm the names and ages of all guests who will accompany them;
• Agree in writing to the Property's standard booking conditions, which include the house rules, behaviour expectations, and confirmation of the number of guests; and
• Agree dates of stay with the Promoter in writing within 14 days of accepting the Prize.

9.2 If the winner fails to satisfy any of clauses 9.1(a), (b) or (c) within the stated timeframes, or if any information provided is found to be false or misleading, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may select an alternative winner.

9.3 Dates are subject to availability and must fall within one of the windows stated in clause 5.2. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to accommodate the winner's preferred dates but does not guarantee any specific dates.

9.4 If the winner is unable to take the Prize within the stated windows for any reason — including illness, travel disruption, work commitments, or change of personal circumstances — the Prize will be forfeited. There will be no rollover, extension, refund or alternative offered.

10. Conditions of stay

10.1 The maximum number of guests at the Property is 4 (four) people, including the winner. Children are welcome and are counted within the four-person limit.

10.2 No pets are permitted at the Property.

10.3 No smoking is permitted inside the Property.

10.4 The Property may not be sub-let, re-sold, used for any commercial purpose, or used to host events or parties.

10.5 The winner is responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Property or its contents during the stay, beyond reasonable wear and tear.

10.6 The winner must be 18 or over on the date of arrival and must be present throughout the stay.

10.7 The Property is in a rural location. The winner is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate clothing, footwear, and (if driving) a vehicle suitable for Icelandic conditions.

11. Liability

11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, delay or inconvenience suffered by the winner or their guests in connection with the Prize, including (without limitation) travel disruption, adverse weather, volcanic activity, road closures, or any force majeure event.

11.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter's negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11.3 The winner is strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering the trip.

12. Personal data

12.1 The Promoter will collect and process personal data (Instagram handle, name, contact details, identification documents and travel details for the winner) only for the purpose of administering the giveaway and delivering the Prize.

12.2 Personal data will not be shared with any third party except where necessary to deliver the Prize or as required by law.

12.3 Non-winning entrants' personal data will be deleted within 3 months of the closing date. The winner's identification and booking data will be retained for as long as necessary to administer the Prize and for 12 months afterwards for record-keeping.

12.4 Entrants have rights under UK GDPR including the right of access, correction and erasure. To exercise these, contact hello@littlebluehouseiceland.com.

13. Use of winner's content

13.1 If the winner shares photographs, videos or written content about their stay on social media and tags or mentions the Promoter, the winner grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to re-share that content on the Promoter's own social channels and website, with credit to the winner.

13.2 The Promoter will not use any other photographs of the winner or their guests, or take any photographs at the Property, without the winner's prior consent.

14. Instagram

14.1 This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, participants release Instagram and Meta from any and all liability arising from or related to this giveaway.

15. General

15.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, abusive, automated, made through fake or duplicate accounts, or otherwise breaches these terms, and to refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach.

15.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms, or to cancel, suspend or modify the giveaway, where circumstances make this unavoidable. Any such changes will be communicated via the giveaway post.

15.3 The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to the giveaway is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

15.4 By entering the giveaway, participants accept and agree to be bound by these terms.

15.5 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
